MY GARDEN.
12:35 AM

Planting trees is one of my habits and also one of my hobbies. I'M ENVIRONMENT-FRIENDLY.

Since young, I often sat beside my mum and see how she plants trees, her favourite relaxing method. That absorbs into my blood. My mum loves to plant trees. For those reasons... One, save the Earth by saving the environment. Two, she is SUPER busy everyday with her work until even she doesn't have a little of time to visit me in Singapore, and therefore, planting trees is an easy & convenient way that she relaxes, not only saving money but also saving time travelling, home is available. Three, seeing those fruitful plants grows fruits is such a good habit to train our patience and somemore, terribly makes you relax. My house has 5 levels and none of them is escaped from my mum's favourite action. Every level has got trees and plants. THAT SOUNDS REALLY GOOD AND REASONABLE!

And... it's true that I carry that habit along and around the world. I have got a small garden at my rented house. At first, there is only chilli and pomelo. I can't stand it when my hobby is to research of conditions of Singapore in which the plants are able to live or not, rising in me. My garden has got various kinds of plants: Pomelo, Chilli, Red bean, Apple and Grape. That's really exciting! Those plants are useful, don't you think so?

P/S: The growth of a fruitful tree from a seed to good ground is one story that we should have been told about our life. Guess it!

This is wonderful! (uploading photos of plants will be updated soon)

I decided not to go to Europe because of those people who have never failed to make me happy. Hahahaha.

They created all retarded moment and I myself turned to be retarded like them. I turned to be always happy and seldom 'emo'. That is why my classmates call me 'the NUTTY'.

At least, I found a peace in my heart as God has brought those sisters and brothers in Christ. They are just simply cute and gorgeous. I love my church people whom I love to hang out with, talk to and say cheers together :)

EUROPE. GO OR NOT GO?
1:18 AM

This is my 61st post.
Being a Vietnamese makes a person pissed off? What're the problems of being a Vietnamese? Oh my goodness, where would I be born to make people happy? A consequence, let's not talk about this because I can just shake my head and bury it somewhere.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

They're renovating at my house's block. The machine caused so much cacophony. My head was shaken by the noise like an electric current runs thought my nerves. I couldn't concentrate on studying. So night time is the time for me to mug and write about my thinking. This moment is around 1 30 in the morning.

I have got no idea whether I should go or shouldn't. Paris and Milano are attractive enough for me to fulfil my dreams. I have got a scholarship to study in either Paris - France or Milano - Italy one year ago. I would study in major design - either fashion or interior design, or maybe to fulfil a small dream of becoming a FAMOUS coffee barista. There are choices for me to choose.

Both cities are so intriguing, yet romantic. My parents will totally agree if I choose to go to Europe. They kept promises of giving me a guitar or MacBook if I have got good 'O' level results or go straight to an university in France or Italy. Yet, those things do not matter my study or where I should go. There is no problem if I go to Europe after receiving 'O' level results, just language which can be learnt quickly. Like that, major Korean will be forgotten. Maybe English will be seldom spoken too. MOE Merit Award is not worth enough though. Somewhere further than Asia can make me more experienced too.

But ...

I still have not detemined my decision, should go or stay in Singapore.
This is arduous to talk about.
Ask Jesus.

HASTY JUDGEMENTS.
11:17 AM

This is my 60th post and i'm talking about 'Living'. Yesterday, i picked up the latest 'The Straits Times' newspaper (18th June), just like a normal habit because I like to read it.

Attached newspaper for every Wednesday is 'MIND YOUR BODY' which I don't often touch or read a word. However, I turned the pages and saw this article in 'Mind Your Body - Living', named 'Hasty judgements'. It's quite interesting and attractive enough for me to stick my eyes on it.

HASTY JUDGEMENTS (written by Gary Hayden - a freelance writer who specialises in education, science, philosophy, health, well-being, travel and short fiction)

'An acquaintance, Bob, recently spent some time as a patient in a National Health Service hospital here in Britain. He left with a low opinion of the nursing staff, who he viewed as brusque, uncaring and insufficiently interested in patients' welfare.
At around the same time, I had a conversation with a friend of mine, Julie, a nurse. She complained that she and her colleagues are so overworked and so bogged down with paperwork that they feel unable to look after their patients properly.
I happen to know that Julie is a caring and considerate person.
I imagine she does the best she can under sometimes difficult circumstances. But I can see that patients like Bob, who merely see nurses are brusque, uncaring and insufficiently interested in their patient's welfare.
Perhaps Bob was unlucky, ending up in a hospital ward staffed largely by uncaring nurses. Or perhaps Bob's judgement was faulty, assuming that the nurses acted the way they did because of what they are (selfish, uncaring and unprofessional). But, in fact, their behaviour might have been due to the situation they found themselves in (short-on-time, stressed out and exhausted).

Attribution error
In general, the way people act depends partly on character and disposition, and partly on circumstances. But when we judge the actions of others, we tend to make a fundamental error. We attribute too much to personality and character and too little to situation and context.
When it comes to judging our own actions, we make the opposite error and place too much emphasis on circumstances. In other words, we make personal attributions for the behaviour of others, while making situational attributions for our own. This tendency is so persative that psychologists have given it a label: the fundamental attribution error.
Dr Michael Picard. a psychology lecturer from University of Victoria, Canada, gives a nice illustration of this tendency in his book, This Is Not A Book: Adventures In Popular Philosophy.
"We've all been there. You're late for work and in a hurry, but on the drive you get caught behind a slowpoke idiot who doesn't even know how to get out of the way.
"We've all been there. You're driving along sensibly, lawfully, when some maniac storms up behind you, impatient but unable to pass... Yet another dangerous jerk.
"We always find ourselves behind a moron and in front of a maniac. The driver ahead is a moron, we are never the maniac. The driver behind is a jerk, we are never the moron."
We tend to judge others too harshly while putting the best possible slant on our own actions.
In my own case, I have noticed that I am very adept at viewing myself in the best possible light. I switch between personal and situational attributions for my behaviour, depending on what suits me best. If I win at squash, it is due to my fitness, skill and determination. If I lose, it is because I am under the weather, preoccupied with other matters - or playing against a cheat.

Redressing the balance
It is worth remembering all of this. Someone's apparent grumpiness may simply be the result of a poor night's sleep. If they appear unfriendly, it may be that they are preoccupied with financial worries or family problems.
We should guard against making the default assumption that what someone does is based on the kind of person they are, rather than the situation they find themselves in.
This is not to say that we must always assume the best of people. There are some grumpy, selfish, dishonest and lazy people out there. But when we seek a better balance, we find ourselves adopting a more accepting view of those around us, which is surely no bad thing.
The old proverb sums it up nicely: Never judge a man until you have walked a mile in his shoes. After that, you can say what you like, because you are a mile away and you have his shoes.'

REFLECT!
10:19 PM

This is my 59th post and I'm gonna talk about some serious stuffs that are warning me!

I'm telling myself that I'm just a scholar. Just comparing between a prosperous family in Singapore and a prosperous family in Vietnam, which one do you think the family would be better? Of course, for the high cost of living, a prosperous family in Singapore should be richer. That is why sometimes I just wish that my parents are Vietnamese who could have lived in Singapore for such a long time. With their careers - one architect & one constructional engineer, they could be a very prosperous couple since their personality is good.

My parents are both born in well-educated family. My mum's mother - my grandmother was a very strict parent and even my grandfather. My father's father - my grandfather was a very strict parent also and my grandmother too. This means both sides are strict. Hence, my parents are strict. It's just like a simultaneous equation, solved and proved with perfect conditions. Both my parents were graduated from National University of Building Construction. They built up themselves from poor people who had none at first but to prosperous people who got money in hand.

Unfortunately, I'd like to call my sister 'an unfortune'. Her way of living is considered 'pathetic'. My parents had given her much of things that she wanted and did their her best to assist her to be admitted to College. But she is now just like a blot on the landscape, hopeless and dreamy. She's probably 24 this years but in her mind, we found it 'a five-year-old kid's mind'. She left her parents to follow a dumb guy who drank and smoke. Although he was graduated from university, clever enough to be employed straightaway to company without applications. My parents have taught her many life-long learning lessons but she is just stubborn and rebels away. My parents are so disappointed that sometimes it's hard for them to concentrate on their work. I'm totally frustrated and pissed off. So an aweful goodbye.

I'm a scholar. However, the payment that MOE assists me to pay doesn't fit my daily life in Singapore. My parents are reaching age of 50 soon. Saving money like mad is not efficient enough. My father's health is not good, yet still has to go to countryside to manage workers to build roads and bridges. His diabetes is not firmly able to be cured. I prayed it will go away totally. In God, miracles would happen in faith. Cost of living in Singapore is so expensive. With that amount of money for one month, I can survive at most 5 months living in Vietnam.

Sometimes, I just wanna drag myself with a thought of going back halfway. But no, that is a dumb stupid thought. Without any certificate, what would I be living for? Only studying to get a proper career would save me from starvation and poverty. Aiming 7 points for 'O' levels result is a hope, a dream and an purpose driven life. Aiming JCs to get into universities is a way to save life from being jobless and a way to make others' dreams come true. So I'm getting my head towards books and healthy lifestyle. Time for church activities is set, and time for studying needs to be set perfectly. I'm gonna jog everyday to have healthy body which is full of energy to mug. Tsk! Books, i'm getting along well with you!

If spending money blindly is a habit, so my goodness, how to be rich? Now it's time to look back, reflect and determine which ways to go. This is an advice for others not to spend money, time blindly. Time to buck up!

P/S: Play first, pay later! Pay first, play later!

Prayer: Father in Heaven, thank You for being our Saviour, our Lord and our King. Only You can save our life from darkness. I'm sorry for the mistakes that I have made things happened in life ungreatly. Father, all I desire is to get 7 points for my 'O' level results to get my full scholarship and get admitted to good JCs - ACJC. That will not make my parents worry about expenses they have to spend on me. For the sake of others' dream coming true, Your spirit will come upon me to make me energetic to study well for my 'O' level examination coming in 3 months. Father, others will look at us with good personality and success, they will realise that only You can save us. My life is relied on Your mighty hands. Lord, you know that my parents are not doing so well, bless them with health and prosper. I will give back to You all things that You have given me. Father, thank You for believing in me, walking with me and saving my soul. I commit all things into Your hands. I pray in Your mighty name, Amen!

REALIZE by Colbie Caillat - Such a nice song! :)

V1: Take time to realize,
That your warmth is
Crashing down on in.
Take time to realize,
That I am on your side
Didn't I, Didn't I tell you.

But I can't spell it out for you,
No it's never gonna be that simple
No I cant spell it out for you

C: If you just realize what I just realized,
Then we'd be perfect for each other
and will never find another
Just realized what I just realized
we'd never have to wonder if
we missed out on each other now.

V2: Take time to realize
Oh-oh I'm on your side
didn't I, didn't I tell you.
Take time to realize
This all can pass you by
Didn't I tell you

But I can't spell it out for you,
no it's never gonna be that simple
no I can't spell it out for you.

C: If you just realized what I just realized
then we'd be perfect for each other
then we'd never find another
Just realized what I just realized
we'd never have to wonder if
we missed out on each other now.

V3: It's not always the same
no it's never the same if you don't feel it too.
If you meet me half way
If you would meet me half way.
It could be the same for you.

C: If you just realize what I just realized
then we'd be perfect for each other
then we'd never find another
Just realize what I just realized
we'd never have to wonder
Just realize what I just realized
If you just realize what I just realized

OoOoOOo
missed out on each other now
missed out on each other

THE CALL.
7:13 PM

I love the song in the movie 'The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian'. The song was played at the part when the Queens and Kings returned to their daily life. Wow! The music is super nice!

Here it is!
The Call by Regina Spektor.

The Call - Regina Spektor
It started out as a feeling
Which then grew into a hope
Which then turned into a quiet thought
Which then turned into a quiet word
And then that word grew louder and louder
Til it was a battle cry
I'll come back
When you call me
No need to say goodbye
Just because everything's changing
Doesn't mean it's never
Been this way before
All you can do is try to know
Who your friends are
As you head off to the war
Pick a star on the dark horizon
And follow the light
You'll come back
When it's over
No need to say good bye
You'll come back
When it's over
No need to say good bye..
Now we're back to the beginning
It's just a feeling and no one knows yet
But just because they can't feel it too
Doesn't mean that you have to forget
Let your memories grow stronger and stronger
Til they're before your eyes
You'll come back
When they call you
No need to say good bye
You'll come back
When they call you
No need to say good bye

SINGAPORE!
11:47 PM

Wah, it's the first time I named the title of my post as 'Singapore'. Umm, it's because I just came back Singapore yesterday's morning (Yeah, at 1 30am I arrived).

So my mind has got 2 conditions, one is in Vietnam and one is in Singapore. It's so fun at both sides, don't know where to land off. Haha. Joking joking...! XD

I just went back home from a lot of outings.
First I went to school this morning to have intensive program lessons. Boring! Everybody has holiday. Only Bartleyans have to wear uniforms. Act smart, is it? One student goes to school. It does affect a lot of people around.
First person is the maid. She supposingly is able to sleep until 8am but she has to wake us up earlier. Second group of people is the guardian's family. They're sleeping. Those making-breakfast stuffs can wake them up accidently. Third group of people is neighbours, as we wake up in the morning, the dogs also get to see the sun. Of course, they're SUPER CACOPHONY and caused neighbours to complain. Tsk!

*Teachers: Can you see? I want a long holiday! I don't wanna affect badly to other people! :((

Yeah, we had lessons until 12 30pm so we went straight to Somerset to watch 'Kungfu Panda'. There were me, Xiwen, Bobby, Pasit, Fern, Astra and Monica - the internation group - the four of V.I.C.T.O.R.Y.! Hahaha.
Before we watched it, we wanted to eat Sushi but in front of the sushi restaurant, there was such a long long queue. RWAH! So we went to Xinwang Hongkong Cafe. Wow! The food there is super NICE! My food is so exciting, seafood mui fan, 'exciting' orange juice bottle and the ginseng sesame ...smt smt (I forgot the name). Wow! Next time I just wanna eat there!

'Kungfu Panda' is so HILARIOUS! *Must watch it!*

After that I went home to get blink blink patterns for Jooyu and Christine and get my clothes changed. I got my head off to church to meet church people before going to CHOMP CHOMP!

Wow! Today i just ate so many exciting food! Food at CHOMP CHOMP is so exciting, especially the ONE-LITRE cup of sugar cane drink. *Must upload photos, waiting for those from Reuben Baby*. Eating with CG people is always a privilege!!!!!!!!!! My table has got me, Jooyu and Reuben. We ordered all the AWESOME food, fried omelete, stingway and lala. Hahaha. So we ATTACKED the food! So fun and nice! God's people are WONDERFUL!

At last, Fifi drove me off by her car. Her car is very cool! Every details inside the car is so intriguing to me. I used to dream to become a AUTOMOBILE DESIGNER. Haha! It was raining heavily.

P/S: I have such a nice day - a day for FOOD! :)

CHILL OUT.
10:10 PM

My vacation is going on so fun. Let's talk about movies.

On Wednesday, I went out to watch movie with my neighbour friend - my BFF and the little girl whom I call 'my fiancee's sister' in some previous posts. Actually, we wanted to watch 'Iron man' a few days before that. However, my BFF said that she wanted to watch 'The Chronicles of Narnia 2 - Prince Caspian'. But she was late because she went to her classmate's birthday party.

So we changed to watch that and chose 'The Forbidden Kingdom' - A movie with Jackie Chan. WE LAUGHED LIKE DEMENTED! The movie is super hilarious. It's kinda incredible with all the parts where there're people fighting with KUNGFU! WOW! Not only funny but also tremendous!

The ticket is cheap in Vietnam. On Tuesday and Thursday, it costs only 40000 VND = S$3 in the most modern cinema in Hanoi. The cinema's standard is just below Cathay 'a little bit'. That price is for students. On the other days, it costs 50 000 VND = around S$4. So it's cheap and cheap. I want to spend money to watch movies in V'nam and not other countries. And ONE SET OF POPCORN AND COKE is cheap too! :D

Before the movie was officially shown, they show Narnia 2's trailer. So intriguing. That's a reason why that little girl pulled me to go and watch Narnia 2 yesterday. Again with that kid, my brother also was got along with us. He got intoxicated to the movie, especially Aslan - the King Lion.

The most funny part of yesterday outing is that the whole journey we went from home to cinema and from cinema to home is just like in Narnia. LOL. It's because my mom fetched 3 of us by her motobikes (in Vietnam, motobikes are commonly in use and not cars). Somemore, it was heavy rain when we went home. I can't stop laughing.

P/S: Coming back Singapore in 2 days! Yo! Yo!

TODAY.
4:36 PM

Today is just like other days.
Something to update.

My pet dog has gone before I went back. It's a very wise dog. So regretful!

I want to run in the morning everyday when I'm in Vietnam. However, one week alrd, I can't have time to run in the morning. :S

So God bless. I don't have to pay for the movie ticket for my 'fiancee' 's sister (Not real fiancee). Because her father is gonna pay for it. He knows the cost of living in Singapore is kinda high. So he pays for it as he treats me one day of allowance in Singapore. Haha. How nice!
Anyway, her grandmother is kinda irritating! Lol. She keeps teasing me for whatever I do. I'm too gentle, ain't I? Haha

P/S: It's fun to 'play with water'! Haha.
